Job Description

Duration: 9 months Contract - W2 (Possibly extend after that) - onsite contractor (4 days/ Week)


Seeking an Workday Solutions Architect with deep Workday experience and a passion for applying Generative and Agentic AI to real-world HR challenges. In this role, you will provide end-to-end solution design and cross-functional leadership for HR systems, ensuring architectural rigor while spearheading AI-powered innovation.


You will lead the design of intelligent, scalable, and secure HR applications—spanning compensation insights, onboarding, candidate & employee experiences—integrated seamlessly across Workday, Docebo, and other platforms.


The ideal candidate brings a strong Workday Solution Architect mindset—balancing holistic solution design, governance, and stakeholder engagement, with hands on experience deploying AI/LLM capabilities through Workday Extend and integrations.


Core Required Technical Skills (Workday & Integrations)

  • 10+ years in HR technology; 5+ in Workday HCM (configuration, security, calculated fields, reporting, HCM/Compensation data models).
  • Building integrations: Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connector, REST/SOAP, Extend apps/widgets.
  • Designing/deploying agentic AI workflows with Workday Orchestrate.
  • Hands-on with Docebo platform (troubleshooting, configuration, workflows).


AI/ML & Innovation Skills

  • 2+ years leading AI/ML initiatives; building intelligent agents for HR use cases (e.g., compensation insights, pay equity analysis, onboarding assistants, offer recommendations).
  • AI governance: Bias mitigation, data privacy, ethical standards (EEOC, GDPR), security with InfoSec/Legal.
  • Monitoring Workday AI roadmap (Illuminate, Agent Gateway, HiredScore); prototyping with low-code/no-code tools.
  • Establishing AI success metrics (adoption, accuracy, time savings, user satisfaction).


HR Domain & Leadership Skills

  • Deep knowledge of HR processes: Talent acquisition, compensation, onboarding, performance management, L&D.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Partnering with HR stakeholders (TA, Comp, HRBPs), IT, Finance; communicating AI to non-technical audiences.
  • Full lifecycle Workday implementations (2+ as solution architect).


Certifications & Education

  • Workday Pro/Partner certs: HCM Core, Integration, Extend (required).
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS, IS, or related (required).
  • AI/ML certification/coursework (preferred).
