Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center is looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting children and helping them reach important developmental milestones.


As a Behavior Technician, you'll provide individualized, one-on-one support to children with autism and developmental disabilities using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Through engaging activities and evidence-based strategies, you'll help clients strengthen communication, social interaction, independence, and everyday life skills.

Behavior Technician Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in thehome, or community
  • Therapy sessions typically 2-5 hours with children primary ages 3-17 years old
  • Implement individualized treatment plans andbehavior support strategies
  • Teach skills in communication, self-care, academics, and social interaction
  • Reduce challenging behaviors throughpositive behavior support
  • Collect and analyze data to track client progress
  • Maintain organized and accurate session notes and documentation
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and participate in clinical team meetings
  • Support and coach caregivers in ABA strategies

What Were Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required(Bachelors degree preferred)
  • Experience with children is a plusbut not required
  • At least 15 hours of weekly availability between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m.; weekend availability is a strong plus.
  • This position may demand physical activity, including lifting up to 10 pounds, sitting, standing, walking, running, bending, kneeling, and squatting as needed during sessions
  • Hours assigned are based on theavailability you provide
  • Must havea reliable vehicle, drivers license, and insurance
  • Willingness to drive up to25 miles from your location
  • Strongtime management, communication, and data collection skills
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply (not required)
