Location: Santa Rosa, California
\n
Schedule: Mid shift, 5x8-hour shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM), Monday-Friday with rotating weekends. On-call and weekend coverage required, typically 2 weekends every 6-week schedule. Daily census of 20-30 cases across 15 rooms.

- Work in a 277-bed acute care hospital with comprehensive surgical services and ambulatory surgery center
- Opportunity to precept and mentor new hires while working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Utilize Epic charting system and advanced sterilization equipment including Steris V-Pro low temp sterilization
- Comprehensive flexible endoscope reprocessing experience including bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, EGD scopes, ERCP scopes, and ultrasound scopes
- Work with advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and robotic equipment
- 13-week assignment with potential for intercampus floating opportunities

Requirements:\n
- \n
- Minimum 4 years of sterile processing experience required; seasoned travelers only
- Valid California license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
- Current certifications: BLS, CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA, CFER
- Trauma Level I experience required; community hospital experience preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Extensive experience with flexible endoscope reprocessing (hardstop requirement)
- Preceptor experience required; must be comfortable training and working with new hires
- Proficiency with vendor trays, robotic equipment cleaning, Steris mechanical washers, and ultrasonic equipment
- Experience with automated endoscope reprocessors (AER), high-level disinfection, and steam sterilization testing/monitoring
- Must be able to work independently in ambulatory surgery center setting
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Ability to float between sister facilities as needed
