Premier Firm Seeking Trial and Litigation Attorney (7+ Years) for Trial and Litigation with Eminent Domain in Los Angeles, San Diego, or Oakland, CA An established California-based firm with over 40 years in practice is seeking a Trial and Litigation Attorney with 7+ years of experience to join its team in a collaborative hybrid environment. This role focuses on complex civil litigation, trial strategy, and eminent domain matters, with significant exposure to constitutional issues and high-stakes public sector disputes. The position offers the opportunity to play a meaningful role in shaping litigation strategy, working across offices, and contributing to a well-regarded statewide litigation platform. Location: Los Angeles, San Diego, or Oakland, CA Offer:
Salary range: $190,000-$300,000+ contingent on experience

7+ years of experience handling complex litigation matters in state and federal courts
Strong academic background with excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Substantial experience with law and motion practice including dispositive motions
Demonstrated ability to build cases for trial through evidence development and witness preparation
Experience taking and defending depositions and working directly with experts
Ability to work effectively across offices and within team-oriented litigation environments
Prior experience representing public entities or handling land use or eminent domain matters preferred
Interest in contributing to firm culture, mentorship, and long-term practice growth Responsibilities:
Develop and execute litigation strategy in complex civil and constitutional matters
Handle all phases of litigation from pleadings through trial preparation
Draft and argue motions in state and federal court
Conduct and defend depositions and manage discovery strategy
Interview witnesses and work closely with experts and consultants
Collaborate with colleagues across offices on trial teams and case strategy
Represent clients in high-level matters with professionalism and sound judgment - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
