Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $25.00 to $26.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

Process and review invoices to ensure accuracy, proper approvals, and timely entry into the accounting system.

Manage vendor payments by verifying documentation, coding transactions, and tracking payment status.

Respond to inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and account balances.

Assist with month end activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting support.

Provide day to day guidance to a small team by helping prioritize workload and ensuring processes are followed.
Requirements:

3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting function.

Previous experience working in high volume environments with the ability to manage strict deadlines.

Familiarity with accounting systems and financial tools used for transaction processing.

Strong understanding of invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation procedures.

Ability to manage responsibilities while supporting team operations and workflow coordination.
