Job Description

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Director of Payroll to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $170,000 to $200,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead payroll operations by overseeing end to end processing activities and ensuring accurate and timely employee payments.
Develop and implement payroll strategies, policies, and procedures to support organizational goals.
Manage system improvements and collaborate with internal teams to enhance automation and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax requirements, and labor policies across multiple jurisdictions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for audits, reporting, and payroll related inquiries.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
Extensive experience in payroll management, including leadership of payroll operations.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax reporting, and labor compliance requirements.
Previous experience working with payroll systems and HR technology platforms.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with attention to accuracy and detail.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams, leadership, and external agencies.
