Connect Staffing is hiring Production Associates for a food production plant in Compton, CA. This is a long-term placement position paying $18.47/hr with weekly overtime of approximately 40 hours per week. In this role, you will mix ingredients, operate production and packaging equipment, and assemble, pack, label, and palletize finished food products.
Pay: $18.47/hr + overtime
Schedule: 1st Shift: Mon–Thu 5:00AM–3:30PM
Location: Compton, CA

Responsibilities
- Monitor product quality throughout the production run and report defects or equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety procedures, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with line setup, adjustments, changeovers, and basic equipment cleaning between production runs.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift.
- Complete production documentation and records accurately.
- Work with the team to meet daily production targets.
Minimum Requirements
- 1+ year of experience working in a food production, food manufacturing, or food processing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience mixing or blending ingredients in a production setting.
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety or sanitation standards.
- Experience operating packaging equipment such as fillers, sealers, or labelers.
- Experience palletizing finished goods and working to production quotas.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, production sheets, or batch records.
- Ability to follow production specifications, food safety standards, and standard operating procedures.
