Team Perio is growing, and we are looking for awesome people to join our team. Our practices are owned by one doctor and managed by a team of people united by the goal of helping as many patients as possible experience dental surgery in a positive way. Responsibilities of Surgical Assistant

Prepare the operatory and equipment

Greet and escort patients to and from the treatment room

Prepare the patient for surgery or examination

Maintain awareness of patients’ comfort and safety needs

Record treatment information in the patient’s chart

Assist the doctor by passing instruments, aspirating intra-oral fluids, and taking photographs

Take radiographs as directed by the doctor

Provide post-operative care to patients as directed by the doctor

Communicate with other essential team members to coordinate patient flow and comfort

Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements of Surgical Assistant

CPR and First Aid certification

Valid X-ray certificate

Sustained positivity and energy throughout the day

Communicate clearly with patients and all team members

Compensation and Benefits

Wage: $22–$28 per hour (DOE)
-
90-day review and wage assessment, with potential for an increase
-
36-40 hour work week
-
Health insurance benefits available after 30 days; all other benefits are eligible after a 90-day probationary period

5 days of sick pay per year
