450K+ first year total compensation package (higher comp packages depend on experience/skillset, open to be flexible for the right candidate)
Job Description:
Lead the development of high power InP DFB lasers. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that addresses the growing demands of data transmission in modern data centers, telecom networks, and beyond.
Requirements:
- PhDEE, Solid State Physics plus 10+ years industry experience with design expertise in high powered InP lasers with commercial success
- Expert in laser physics including gain media interactions with high intensity fields and epitaxial design, and related simulations
- Process design/fabrication process development of InP devices or PICs
- Photonic device testing of semiconductor lasers
- Extensive photonic device data analysis in manufacturing environment
