Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners by providing specialized support as a Special Education Teacher. In this full-time contract position, you'll work with Transitional Kindergarten to 1st grade students with mild to moderate needs, creating an inclusive and empowering environment tailored to their success.

Qualifications:

  • Active California Mild/Moderate Special Education Teaching Credential (required)
  • Experience supporting and teaching students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and families
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to TK – 1st grade students, following IEP goals and adapting lessons as needed
  • Assess student abilities and progress, using data to adjust teaching strategies and support plans
  • Collaborate with general education staff, therapists, and families to ensure a team approach to student growth and well-being
  • Maintain ongoing documentation, IEP compliance, and communication with stakeholders
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings to enhance instructional practices
