Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary and middle school students by providing essential speech and language services in an engaging educational setting. This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for a skilled SLP who enjoys working with a diverse caseload and is passionate about supporting student growth both in school and, on occasion, through home and hospital visits.
Key Qualifications:
- Current CCC-SLP certification required
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and data-driven intervention
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a caseload averaging 55 students
- Comfortable servicing both elementary and middle school students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and deliver direct services for assigned students
- Provide speech and language therapy in group and individual settings within the school environment
- Complete one home and hospital service visit per week as assigned
- Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress toward student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Adhere to all professional, legal, and ethical standards required in school-based practice
