Step into a rewarding opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist serving students for the upcoming school semester. This contract position covers a maternity leave from August 14th through November 30th.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active SLP license in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is mandatory
  • Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
  • Strength in collaborating with teaching staff, families, and administrators
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing therapy to a diverse student population
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, prioritizing their individual educational needs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student eligibility and therapy requirements
  • Develop and implement effective, evidence-based interventions and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and relevant documentation
  • Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and school staff on student development and needs
