Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active SLP license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is mandatory
- Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
- Strength in collaborating with teaching staff, families, and administrators
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing therapy to a diverse student population
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, prioritizing their individual educational needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student eligibility and therapy requirements
- Develop and implement effective, evidence-based interventions and IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and relevant documentation
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and school staff on student development and needs
