Position spans from August 11 through June 3, with consistent daytime hours—Monday through Friday—to ensure a balanced schedule.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLPA credential
- Experience working in educational settings preferred
- Ability to effectively assist SLPs in implementing therapy plans
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments
- Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to SLPs in developing and delivering speech/language interventions
- Work with students individually or in small groups under supervision
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Prepare and adapt materials for therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute observations
- Effectively communicate with educators and parents as needed
