Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Little Scholars Services is looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (CF Welcome to Apply) to join our growing team in Mission Viejo, CA! Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess children's speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop, Review, and implement individualized treatment plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child's needs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in a pediatric setting (in home or in clinic)
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Conduct screenings and diagnostic evaluations using standardized assessment tools
- Provide parent and caregiver training and education on communication strategies
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school, clinic, or therapy setting
- Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and child-centered approach to therapy
