Make an impact in the lives of students by supporting their academic and emotional growth in a dynamic K-8 environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled School Psychologist ready to provide meaningful services onsite at one location. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators in a setting that values expertise and compassionate care.

Step into this full-time role for the 2026 school year, covering a maternity leave from August 4th through October 1st. With a caseload of approximately 80 students ranging from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade, your work will center on comprehensive evaluations, counseling, and strategic interventions to ensure each student’s needs are met.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Valid California Psychologist certification
  • Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential
  • Experience in school settings supporting elementary and/or middle grades
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to cultural sensitivity and inclusive practices

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct educational and behavioral assessments for students TK-8
  • Participate in IEP meetings, delivering insights and recommendations
  • Provide individual and group counseling as appropriate
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive plans
  • Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district guidelines
