Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Genuine passion for nurturing growth and empowering students with special needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and tailor lesson plans and instructional materials to accommodate individual student IEP goals
- Foster a welcoming and supportive environment that values inclusion and diversity
- Assess student performance, monitor progress, and adjust teaching methods as needed
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of student achievements and interventions
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school counselors, and related service providers
- Engage and support families through regular communication and ongoing partnership
