This role supports day-to-day warehouse operations by handling inventory, operating forklifts, performing shipping and receiving tasks, and completing accurate data entry. The position requires a reliable and safety-conscious individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and contribute to smooth warehouse workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy of quantities and product descriptions.
  • Prepare, package, and stage outgoing orders for shipment according to established procedures.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move, load, and unload materials.
  • Use RF scanners to pick, track, and verify inventory and orders.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Update inventory records and shipment information using computer-based data entry systems.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse areas to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues and report findings promptly.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies while handling equipment and materials.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve inventory or shipping discrepancies.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of inventory handling, shipping, and receiving processes.
  • Proficiency using RF scanners for inventory tracking and order picking.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to perform accurate data entry.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred.
  • Previous experience with warehouse management systems or inventory software is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.00/hr.
