Engineering Firm seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our organization. This is a great opportunity to assist our employees with diverse projects and provide general administrative support and become a vital asset and team member while improving the efficiency of the workplace. This is a part time position with 25-30 hours a week on average, with flexible start/end times.
Administrative Assistant Job Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome and greet clients and office guests
Support office staff and executives with clerical tasks
Plan and schedule meetings, presentations, other office-related events, and travel arrangements; send reminders regarding upcoming appointments
Answer phones in a professional and cheerful manner and direct calls to appropriate persons or take detailed messages
Assist with Client communication
Type out paper and electronic correspondence
Help prepare presentation materials
Assist in day to day operations as needed by office manager and staff
Monitor and maintain office equipment and supplies; request repair or restocking when necessary
Ensure office is kept clean and organized at all times
Administrative Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate
1+ years of experience as an administrative assistant a plus
Fast, proficient, and accurate typist
Proficient with Microsoft Suite and common office equipment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Self-starter who works well independently
Professional demeanor
Positive Attitude
Attention to detail
