Energyficient has an immediate opening for a Site Superintendent position on our construction team. The site superintendent takes over project responsibility at the receipt of a signed contract and is responsible for pre-construction planning, project construction, and closeout. Our Site Managers must have the knowledge, skill, and experience to run and communicate day-to-day job safety, understand lighting retrofit construction operations, and perform quality control processes on the job site. Our goal is to build customer loyalty by exceeding expectations throughout the entire construction phase of a project. Energyficient provides on the job training and a management system that focuses on leadership, accountability, and execution.
Required Skills:
- Desire for travel and see the wonders of the USA! This position is 80% travel.
- Experience in electrical work and/or construction management; preferably involving lighting retrofit projects.
- Proficiency in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Teams, SnapCount, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Provide an excellent demeanor and personality to represent our company.
- Strong time-management, dependability, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bring decisive, focused leadership.
- Understand job specifications, contract requirements, labor needs.
- The ability to walk long distances for multiple hours, if needed.
- Ability to multi-task with a record of successfully supervising subcontractors and pleasing prime contractors.
- Experience in the use of I-Pad, Android and similar devices.
- Deep desire to continue education of lighting and lighting controls to acquire the experience necessary to excel in this industry.
Job Description:
The Site Manager is an exciting position that provides the potential for advancement and growth within the company. This position requires traveling 80% or more of your time, nationally. Weekend work may be required; holiday work is never required. You will work closely with subcontractor(s) to ensure their focus on quality, workmanship, and meeting the project schedule. This daily direction and coordination ensure the work is carried out safely, correctly, within budget, and on schedule to the customers satisfaction.
Education:
- High School Diploma Required.
- Associates degree Preferred.
Other Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Pass Criminal Background Check & Drug Screening.
- Certified as OSHA-30 within 30 days of employment.
- Desire to travel nationally 80% of the time.
