PRODUCTION QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN – PRODUCE COMPANY
Anaheim, CA
Pay Rate: $20.75 per hour
1st Shift: 4:00 AM Start
2nd Shift: 1:00 PM Start

We are currently seeking experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Technicians to join a fast-paced produce distribution and manufacturing facility in Anaheim, CA. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, food safety, and compliance with company standards.

Quality Control Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming and outgoing produce for quality, freshness, and defects.
  • Monitor product specifications, weights, labeling, and packaging requirements.
  • Perform routine quality checks throughout production and packing operations.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Identify and report quality concerns, food safety issues, or product non-conformances.
  • Work closely with Production, Shipping, and Receiving departments to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Assist with product holds, rejections, and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Verify compliance with customer specifications and company procedures.
  • Support audits and food safety initiatives as needed.

GMP & Food Safety Compliance

  • Reinforce and monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Ensure associates follow proper hygiene, handwashing, PPE, and sanitation requirements.
  • Promote food safety awareness on the production floor.
  • Report GMP violations and assist with corrective coaching efforts.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous Quality Control experience preferred.
  • MUST BE BILINGUAL
  • Food manufacturing or produce industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods.
  • Comfortable using tablets, computers, and quality documentation systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and production teams.
  • Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and varying schedules as needed.
