Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or related field, or an AAS degree from an accredited SLPA program
- Current and active SLPA license or certification
- Outstanding communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal), especially in high-stress or crisis situations
- Ability to work onsite; virtual options are not available
- Willingness to travel between multiple school sites as needed
- Familiarity with providing direct and indirect services in accordance with students’ IEPs
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech/language therapy sessions under SLP supervision
- Collaborate closely with SLPs, teachers, and school staff
- Document progress and maintain clear records in line with IEP goals
- Engage in professional development and ongoing training
- Support students’ communication needs with empathy and professionalism
