Job Title: Material Handler 2nd Shift
Location: Long Beach, CA
Pay: $20.00 + Shift Differential (depending on experience) / Job Class: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday thru Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. (4x10 Schedule)
Description: Loads, unloads, and performs material movements within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the storage facility.
- Pick materials accurately for production and shipping
- Maintain warehouse organization, housekeeping, and 6S standards
- Process returned materials within required timelines
- Track material movements and inventory transactions in D365
- Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments
- Support production and warehouse operations as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Warehouse/material handling experience
- Forklift experience and ability to obtain certification
- Experience with inventory control, material movements, and cycle counts
- Ability to frequently lift up to 55 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
- Experience using warehouse management systems, ERP systems, scanners, or inventory software (D365 experience is a plus)
- Pass background check
