Are you an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who thrives in a fast-paced Emergency Department? We are looking for compassionate, skilled professionals ready to provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative, high-energy environment with Emergency Department experience and are proficient in Epic and Cerner
Position Overview
As an Emergency Department LVN, you'll work alongside Registered Nurses and physicians to provide exceptional patient-centered care. You'll assist with assessments, treatments, medication administration, and procedures while helping patients through some of their most critical moments.
This is an ideal opportunity for experienced LVNs who enjoy a dynamic, team-oriented Emergency Department setting.
Responsibilities

Provide quality nursing care under RN or physician supervision

Perform patient assessments and ongoing reassessments

Assist in developing individualized care plans

Administer medications safely and accurately

Perform clinical procedures including:

Phlebotomy
-
Injections
-
Drug screens
-
Sterile dressing changes
-

Educate patients and families
-
Assist with discharge planning
-
Maintain supplies and department readiness
-
Follow infection prevention and safety standards
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
RequirementsRequired
-
Current California LVN License
-
BLS Certification
-
Emergency Department experience
-
Epic experience (Required)
-
Cerner experience (Required)

Weekend availability
Preferred

Arrhythmia Certification
-
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
