Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated, reliable, and compassionate Home Care Aides (HCAs) to assist our clients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being at home. The ideal candidate has a heart for caregiving and is committed to providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands, if needed
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the office
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Requirements:
- Must be registered as a Home Care Aide (HCA) with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) or willing to register
- Live Scan fingerprinting clearance through CDSS Guardian
- Proof of TB clearance within the past 90 days
- Ability to complete 5 hours of initial training and 5 hours of annual training as required by the state
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license (if applicable)
- Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
