JOB SUMMARY
Daniels Tire Service has been in business over 100+ years. We are looking to add a dependable warehouse worker/delivery person to join our team.
ESSENTIAL JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Maintain warehouse inventory in an orderly fashion, and control all activities related to security of tire inventory, receiving and shipping of product...
- Organize receiving in order to check product with invoice quantities being charged.
- Unload tires from trucks. Make note of all discrepancies in receiving documents and have driver sign off and verify.
- Safely move all delivered tires to designated warehouse homes for the particular tires.
- Fill all orders for tires to their designated departure area.
- Acquire all necessary signatures before releasing product to driver or service person with an official order
- Load all orders into designated trucks
- Point out any safety hazards.to your warehouse supervisor
- delivery and pick up tires and parts as needed
NONESSENTIAL JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assists with any other duties that may be assigned.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean and free of any tire labels.
- Safely use fork lifts and dolly’s in warehouse as required by the job.
- Use personal protective equipment; safety glasses, gloves, non-slip/steel toe work boots.
- Safely drive company truck to and from delivery/drop off stops
- friendly customer service when working with customers
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment, forklift use, safe driver for delivery and pick ups.
License: Auto, California Driver’s License, Class C
UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Will frequently be required to lift objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
