Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Asphalt Paver Operators for projects located in the Victorville, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $35+/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Operate a LeeBoy 7000C asphalt paver to complete commercial paving operations safely and efficiently
- Lead and direct the paving crew during asphalt placement, maintaining proper grade, joint alignment, and paving quality
- Perform equipment inspections, monitor paving operations, and assist with setup, adjustments, and daily maintenance as needed
- Other tasks as assigned
Responsibilities
- Journeyman-level asphalt paving experience
- Proven experience operating a LeeBoy 7000C (or closely related LeeBoy paving equipment)
- Strong knowledge of asphalt placement, paving techniques, and crew coordination
- Ability to read grades and ensure high-quality paving results
- All PPE
