Build the Recruiting Function from the Ground Up
An innovative, venture-backed AI startup is seeking its first Founding Recruiter to establish and scale the talent acquisition function. What You'll Be Doing
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and business roles.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage exceptional talent.
- Partner with founders and hiring managers to define hiring needs and execute recruiting plans.
- Build strong talent pipelines using modern sourcing techniques and AI-powered recruiting tools.
- Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
- Create scalable recruiting processes, documentation, and best practices.
- Provide market insights on talent availability, hiring trends, and compensation benchmarks.
What We're Looking For
- 2–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience hiring for startups or through an agency supporting startup clients.
- Strong sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting platforms.
- Ability to independently manage the recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to offer.
- Bachelor's degree from a U.S. or Canadian university.
- Willingness to work onsite in San Francisco five days a week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using AI-powered sourcing tools such as Clay, Juicebox, Harmonic, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (Ashby or equivalent).
- Experience recruiting across both Engineering and Go-to-Market teams.
- Strong foundation in sourcing with a proactive, data-driven recruiting approach.
