Medical Device Assembler

Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Payrate: $19/Hr

Job Summary

Join a team that manufactures life-saving medical devices, including pacemakers and implantable defibrillators. You'll work in a clean manufacturing environment performing assembly, testing, and inspection of small medical device components while following detailed procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, repair, and test medical devices and components.
  • Follow written work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
  • Handle small parts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Use computers and electronic data collection systems.
  • Follow safety, quality, and cleanroom procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Support Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Comfortable working with small parts and repetitive tasks.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Able to prioritize work and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Manufacturing, assembly, or medical device experience is a plus.

Work Environment

  • Clean manufacturing environment.
  • Work is performed under close supervision.
  • Production and quality standards must be consistently met.

Interview & Dress Code

To maintain a clean manufacturing environment, candidates must follow these guidelines during the interview and while working:

  • Wear clean, lint-free clothing without loose fibers, glitter, sequins, tassels, or frayed fabric.
  • Avoid fleece, sweaters, loose-knit clothing, or anything that sheds fibers.
  • Clothing must fully cover the torso, shoulders, and legs.
  • Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are required (no sandals, clogs, slippers, or high heels over 2 inches).
  • No makeup, nail polish, acrylic nails, artificial nails, or strong fragrances.
  • Remove jewelry or piercings that cannot be covered or may damage gloves.
  • Cover any cuts or wounds with a bandage.
  • Dress conservatively and avoid offensive clothing.
