Job DescriptionOur client is seeking an Inventory Clerk to join their team!
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday -Friday - 7:00 am -3:30 pm
Location: Ontario
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Responsible for verification of all inbound and outbound freight, both domestic and foreign.
- Direct communication with sales/purchasing department regarding inbound/outbound orders.
- Maintenance and cleanliness of parts area.
- Some light janitorial duties.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme weather conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
- Must be willing to assume other duties as assigned by management team.
The successful candidate must:
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Have the ability to operate a forklift.
- Meet medium level physical exertion requirements, including lifting 50 Lbs
- Possess basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork.
- Have the ability to follow oral and/or written instruction.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Be willing and able to work while standing for most of the shift.
- Perform duties as assigned on a daily basis following all safety and policy guidelines.
- Be coachable and willing to learn.
- Have no lifting restrictions or fear of heights.
