Job Description1st Shift CNC Swiss Machinist
Location: Placentia, CA
Shift: 1st Shift
We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to join a growing precision machining team serving the aerospace industry. This is a hands-on position responsible for machine setups, operation, troubleshooting, and producing high-quality precision components.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines
- Perform offsets and tool changes
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment
- Maintain tight tolerances and perform in-process inspections
- Troubleshoot machining issues to maximize production and quality
- Work closely with Quality and Engineering to ensure parts meet specifications
Qualifications:
- Experience setting up and operating CNC Swiss machines preferred
- Candidates with strong CNC lathe setup experience who are looking to transition into Swiss machining are encouraged to apply—training will be provided for the right individual.
- Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience with precision measuring instruments
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Stable work history and a positive attitude
