Position Summary:
Vali, Inc. is seeking an Alternate Site Manager to join our team. This position supports contract operations by supervising contractor personnel, coordinating work activities, ensuring efficient performance and timely reporting, implementing quality control and cost-saving measures, and providing leadership to support successful contract execution.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supervise contractor personnel and support day-to-day contract operations.
- Plan and coordinate work activities to maximize resource utilization.
- Coach and mentor supervisors and team leads.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Implement quality control and cost-saving measures to support efficient contract performance.
- Communicate effectively with Government representatives, management, and contractor personnel.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in distribution management, or seven (7) years of management experience supporting distribution operations of similar size and complexity.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past five (5) years.
- Knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete assigned work.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment for extended periods.
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Work is performed in a combination of office and operational environments and may require exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Occasional travel, overtime, or schedule adjustments may be required based on operational or contractual needs.
