Job DescriptionWe’re seeking someone with a sales-minded approach, excellent customer service skills, and a positive, energetic attitude for our next fitness sales associate. Our ideal candidate brings at least a year of sales experience along with a good understanding of how to prospect leads through telemarketing, cold calling, walk-ins, and member referrals. Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to resolve the problems of members in an impartial and professional way
- Manage and organize marketing efforts both within and outside of the studio
- Greet members and guests at the studio, answer phones, and assist the front desk with various tasks
- Generate leads by various methods including doing outreach to prospective members by phone, text, email, and talking with prospects at local events and studio walk-ins
- Retain long-term clients and expand the studio's member base through sales, onboarding new members, and providing great customer service
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized club environment by completing cleaning tasks and hourly club walks
- Engage potential members through various outreach methods, including phone calls, text messages, emails, and in-person conversations during club tours
Qualifications:
- High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
- At least 1 year of sales experience or work in a similar role is preferred
- Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required
- Outstanding organizational skills and time management
- Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Previous experience in customer service, fitness, or a related field preferred
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with outreach efforts such as phone calls, emails, texting, and in-person conversations
- Basic computer and administrative skills (POS systems, email, scheduling software, etc.)
- Willingness to maintain a clean and organized club environment
