This position involves operating reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sitdown forklifts within a warehouse environment. Operators will be responsible for safe and efficient material handling, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining organized inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology. Standard warehouse shift patterns apply to this role.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts including reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sitdown models safely and efficiently
- Perform cherry picking and load management tasks to prepare orders for shipment
- Handle inventory by conducting accurate picking, packing, and stock placement activities
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment
- Utilize warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology for tracking and recording inventory movements
- Assist with equipment maintenance to ensure operational readiness
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Proficient in forklift operation including reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sitdown forklifts
- Experienced in inventory management and equipment maintenance
- Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Effective time management abilities
