Ventura Pet Barn is looking for an energetic, honest, reliable person to work full time in a fun, animal oriented environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 45lbs, be on feet for extended periods, use step-stool/ladder
Willingness to take direction and work closely with fellow employees
Ability to communicate effectively with the public
Accuracy in money handling
Capacity to self motivate
Desire to participate in ongoing education involving product, pet health and training
Availability to work weekends and some holidays
DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to)
Customer service
Operating cash register
Stocking/merchandizing/inventory
Staying up-to-date with product information/employee training
Maintaining workplace cleanliness and order
EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING A PLUS
Pet nutrition
Animal behavior
Positive training methods
Retail
Working with the public'
