Sign Language Interpreter | K–12 | Full-Time | California
Soliant is seeking four dedicated Sign Language Interpreters to support K–12 students in a California school district. These in-person opportunities are ideal for professionals who are passionate about promoting communication access and helping students succeed in the classroom.
This is an onsite-only position working 30 hours per week during the school year.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for students in classroom instruction and school-related activities
- Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers
- Support students' academic, social, and extracurricular participation
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to support student success
Qualifications
- EIPA score of 3.0 or higher required (4.0+ preferred)
- Experience interpreting in a K–12 educational setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of ASL and educational interpreting practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- ASL Paraprofessionals will be considered if they hold an EIPA score of 3.0 or higher

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.34 to $53.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
