Job DescriptionSalary:
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be a key part of the team responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and helping turn units quickly between tenants. You'll work across a variety of trades, so versatility is a must. This is a hands-on role where no two days look exactly the same.
What You'll Do
Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and work orders
Perform general repairs including drywall, carpentry, painting, and flooring
Assist with plumbing and electrical repairs as needed
Complete unit turns addressing cosmetic damage and preparing units for new residents
Conduct regular property inspections for safety and EPA compliance
Perform and document preventative maintenance on equipment and common areas
Coordinate with and oversee third-party vendors when specialized work is required
Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in apartment, building, or facilities maintenance
Working knowledge of at least two trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall)
Professional certification in plumbing, HVAC, or electrical repair is a plus
Ability to diagnose problems and find practical solutions quickly
Strong communication and customer service skills our residents are your customers
Reliable, organized, and able to prioritize a busy workload
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver's license preferred
