Production Operator
We are currently seeking dependable and motivated Production Operators to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, are safety-focused, and thrive in a team-oriented production environment. Successful candidates will be responsible for operating production equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting daily manufacturing operations.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently to meet daily production goals.
- Assemble, package, inspect, and prepare products according to company specifications.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet established standards.
- Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues to supervisors.
- Complete basic machine setup, adjustments, and routine preventative maintenance as assigned.
- Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and operating procedures.
- Accurately record production information and complete required documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following 5S practices.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and quality objectives.
- Cross-train in multiple production areas as needed.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position
- Various shifts available (1st and 2nd Shift)
- Overtime and weekends may be required based on production demands.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, production, assembly, machine operation, or warehouse experience.
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience operating production or manufacturing equipment.
- Quality inspection or assembly experience.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and willing to cross-train in multiple departments.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
- Manual dexterity to handle small parts and operate production equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
