Houseman Position Overview
The Houseman is responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring that all assigned residences remain presentable, functional, and operating seamlessly. This role requires a proactive approach to property care, including routine inspections, minor repairs, and troubleshooting household issues before they escalate. The Houseman will also assist with housekeeping tasks, such as deep cleaning, organization, and general tidiness, to maintain an exceptional living environment.
Additionally, this role involves coordinating and supervising external vendors, repair technicians, and cleaning services, to ensure all work meets high standards. Running errands, handling household supply inventory, and assisting with special requests from principals are also key responsibilities. The Houseman is expected to provide outstanding hospitality, anticipating needs and delivering a seamless experience for residents and guests. Prior hospitality or luxury service experience is preferred, as the role requires discretion, professionalism, and a keen attention to detail.
