About the Role:
Steve Hay Sole Prop is looking for a skilled Commercial Journeyman Plumber to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. This is a great opportunity to bring your expertise to a variety of commercial plumbing projects in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for commercial projects
- Perform rough-in plumbing, finish work, and system testing on commercial job sites
- Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues and implement effective solutions
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on job sites
- Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and materials to ensure job site readiness
Requirements:
- Valid California Journeyman Plumber license required
- Minimum 4+ years of commercial plumbing experience
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical plumbing schematics
- Strong knowledge of California plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Experience with commercial pipe systems including copper, PVC, cast iron, and PEX
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites in the Santa Clara, CA area
