We are hiring an experiencedCommercial Janitorfor a busy industrial machine shop. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. Candidatesmust have recent experience working in an industrial or manufacturing facility.
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturdays (Mornings)
Responsibilities
- Clean shop floors, workstations, restrooms, and break areas
- Remove oil, grease, coolant spills, metal shavings, and industrial waste
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Clean machinery exteriors and surrounding work areas
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers and industrial vacuums
- Follow OSHA guidelines and all safety procedures
Requirements
- Recent industrial or manufacturing janitorial experience required
- Experience working around machinery, raw material shavings, oils, and industrial waste
- Ability to work independently and maintain productivity
- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots
