This role is ideally suited for physicians trained in Emergency Medicine, or those with backgrounds in Family Practice or Internal Medicine who possess significant Emergency Medicine experience.

Location: Stockton VA Clinic (Richard A. Pittman VA Clinic), French Camp/Stockton, CA

  • Schedule: Full?time, MondayFriday, 07:3018:00 (variable to total ~36 clinical hours/week)
  • \n

  • Salary: $260,000 $325,000 per year
  • \n

  • Benefits: 5055 days PTO/year, federal pension (5-year vest), 401(k) matching, comprehensive insurance, CME stipend ($1,000/year), liability protection
  • \n

\nDuties & Responsibilities\n

    \n
  • Provide high-quality urgent care for Veteransmanaging acute/chronic conditions across diverse patient populations
  • \n

  • Conduct diagnostics, procedures, orders, referrals, and medication management
  • \n

  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teamsincluding specialty services and resident training
  • \n

  • Ensure compliance with VA policies, patient safety, and national clinical standards
  • \n

\nQualifications\n

    \n
  • Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • \n

  • Licensure: Current, full, and unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • \n

  • Residency: Completed ACGME/AOA-accredited residencyEmergency Medicine strongly preferred; Family or Internal Medicine with significant EM experience accepted
  • \n

  • Citizenship: U.S. citizen (non-citizens eligible only if no qualified citizens available)
  • \n
