Amanda Warren with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to support business leaders and employees in Auburn, California. This role will guide key people practices across employee relations, policy interpretation, compliance, and talent acquisition while helping strengthen an engaged and high-performing workplace. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at every level of the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with HR leadership and operational leaders to align people strategies with organizational priorities and support overall business performance.
• Advise managers and employees on human resources policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring consistent understanding and application across the organization.
• Lead employee relations efforts by addressing workplace concerns, promoting fair treatment, and helping cultivate a respectful and productive work environment.
• Partner with supervisors and department leaders to investigate issues, assess root causes, and implement practical resolutions that balance business and employee needs.
• Support education and enforcement of anti-harassment and anti-discrimination expectations through guidance, coaching, and proactive issue management.
• Monitor HR practices to ensure alignment with company standards, business objectives, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Manage recruiting activities for designated client groups, including coordination of hiring efforts and support throughout the selection process.
• Oversee core HR administration activities such as onboarding, benefits-related support, and effective use of HR information systems.
• Contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives and provide additional support on projects or assignments as directed by leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in human resources management with a strong background in employee relations.
• Working knowledge of HR administration, including onboarding processes and benefits support.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and the ability to maintain accurate employee data and records.
• Ability to interpret policies, apply sound judgment, and provide clear guidance to managers and employees.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience identifying workplace issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of an organization.
• Understanding of employment-related compliance requirements, including anti-harassment and anti-discrimination practices.
