Step into an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within elementary school settings for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role is tailored for a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) eager to support students with diverse needs in a supportive educational environment. The position encompasses working with an elementary-aged caseload presenting primarily mild to moderate needs, spanning one to two nearby sites.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in California
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based speech and language services
  • Solid understanding of evidence-based interventions for elementary-aged students
  • Proficiency in evaluating and developing individualized treatment plans for mild to moderate caseloads
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with school staff, parents, and students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to elementary students
  • Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and compile relevant documentation
  • Develop, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student growth
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and reports
  • Rotate between one to two sites as required to efficiently manage caseload
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise
