Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with SLP-CCC and school-based SLP professionals
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and adhering to all school policies

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services under the direction and supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Assist in screening, assessment, and therapy sessions for students with communication needs
  • Maintain thorough records and help document student progress
  • Support classroom staff and participate in IEP meetings when appropriate
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the SLP team to implement intervention plans
