Salary: $23.00 DOE
Express Employment Professionals of Rancho Cucamonga is currently seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator for a company in Ontario, CA. We are looking for a skilled operator with press brake setup experience, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work independently in a precision manufacturing environment.
This position focuses on custom and production sheet metal fabrication. Existing parts have stored forming programs, so most setups involve selecting and adjusting existing programs rather than creating new ones from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Press Brake machines to produce precision sheet metal components.
- Perform press brake setups, including punch and die changes.
- Utilize existing forming programs and make adjustments as needed for production.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
- Verify part dimensions and quality throughout the production process.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Follow all company quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous Press Brake setup experience required.
- Experience operating Bystronic, Amada, or similar CNC press brake machines.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience in a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently while meeting production deadlines.
- Must pass a drug screening and background check.
