Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable UV Printer Operator with experience using Adobe Illustrator (AI) to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating UV printing equipment, preparing artwork files, ensuring print quality, and meeting production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain UV printing equipment to produce high-quality printed products.
- Prepare, edit, and set up artwork using Adobe Illustrator.
- Verify artwork is print-ready and meets customer specifications.
- Monitor print jobs for color accuracy, alignment, and overall quality.
- Perform routine machine setup, cleaning, and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment and printing issues.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized production workspace.
- Work closely with design and production teams to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating UV printing equipment is required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required.
- Understanding print production workflows and file preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs while meeting deadlines.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills are a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
