Job Description

Make an impact in the lives of children as a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary and middle school students. This full-time, contract position provides the opportunity to work with a supportive school environment close to San Jose, CA, making a real difference throughout the academic year from August 6 to May 27.

You’ll enjoy a manageable average caseload of 55 students and the unique chance to provide both school-based therapy and one dedicated Home & Hospital service session each week. Your expertise will ensure students receive the high-quality support they need to succeed in their educational journey.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist - CCC credential
  • Strong experience in pediatric and school settings
  • Dedication to working collaboratively with families, teachers, and other professionals
  • Confidence in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility and commitment to providing services in both traditional and alternative settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students
  • Evaluate, document, and track student progress toward goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
  • Engage in one weekly Home & Hospital service session, helping students who require therapy outside of the school building
  • Collaborate with faculty, parents, and other team members to ensure holistic student care
