Job Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Investigate claim requests to determine validity
- Communicate with vendors to recover on claims
- Monitor claims, analyze key operational/financial indexes on a regular basis
- Find root causes for discrepancies between actual performance and forecast
- Analyze issues, make reports/recommendations as requested by team leader/head of department
- Gather and analyze claims related documentation
- Support ad-hoc reports

Skills and Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- 1+ years of experience working in planning/risk management/finance in logistics
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or similar preferred
- Expertise with SAP, WMS, ERP highly desired
- Strong Excel and Power Point skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage and work effectively within cross-functional groups.
- Ability to adapt quickly and be flexible in a dynamic environment
- Experience using advanced supply chain management, enterprise planning or financial planning systems is highly desired. (SAP, etc.)
- Strong communication, both written (PPT presentations) and oral skills.
- The ability to work either independently or in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the completion of assignments within and exceeding established time frames.

Minimum Requirements:

- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.
- Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability/flexibility to work up to 8-10 hours of overtime when needed.
