This full-time role focuses on an Early Special Needs (ESN) caseload, working with K-4th grade students. You will play a crucial role in fostering growth and inclusion for a class of 14 learners, helping them reach their full potential.
Enjoy a structured schedule: 7.5-hour workdays on a 186-day academic calendar, totaling 37.5 hours per week plus an additional hour dedicated to weekly staff meetings. This school welcomes a dedicated educator ready to make an impact throughout the year.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Active CTC Certification (required)
- Experience working within the Special Education setting
- Skills in individualized instruction, classroom management, and documentation
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing individualized education plans for K-4th grade ESN students
- Creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Collecting data and reporting on student progress
- Collaborating with specialists, support staff, and parents
- Participating in professional development and staff meetings
