Job Title: Metal Polisher/Finisher
Pay Rate: $22.50/hour DOE
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Shift: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 2:15 PM – 11:00 PM
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Polisher/Finisher to join our team. This role involves working with high-quality brass fixtures, utilizing various finishing techniques to achieve superior craftsmanship. The position requires hands-on work with polishing, sanding, buffing, and metal plating, among other finishing processes. Candidates should be comfortable following safety procedures, using protective equipment, and working with tools and chemicals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sandblast, polish, and buff metal surfaces to achieve desired finishes.
- Operate and maintain polishing equipment and materials.
- Perform metal plating and chemical finish applications.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
- Update inventory records using bar code scanners and computers.
- Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least six months of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work with chemicals, power tools, and in varying indoor conditions.
- Overtime availability as needed.
